ABOUT HHTB
Before relocating to Rush City, we were living on a 1.1 acre lot, including house and outbuildings! Space was very tight for horse keeping, so I began researching ways to maximize space, while having grazing areas (traditional rotational pastures). Grazing areas were great, but then my mare, Lady, experienced grass-induced laminitis in the fall. It was devastating! I had to adjust my management for her: keeping her off grass, but maximizing movement. This was when I stumbled upon "Paddock Paradise" by Jaime Jackson and track-system living for horses.

We moved to Rush City in July of 2023 and quickly fenced approximately 3.5 acres of pasture, set up with a 12' wide track. Realizing the benefits of track living, I wanted to provide the opportunity for others to allow their horses track-life, opposed to traditional dry-lot paddocks or green, sugary-laden pastures. Especially to those who have/had metabolic concerns, past laminitis episodes, obesity, limited space, etc. HHTB was opened February 2024.

I have 20+ years of horse experience, and now increasing my knowledge of forage-based diets, how herds benefit on the track- and promote more movement like bands of wild horses! - I am also learning more about trimming feet and the health benefits of keeping horses barefoot.

I am so honored to be on this journey, and for you to be able to learn and grow with me!
