Track Life

Further information about our track features and feeding are outlined below.

Ad-Lib Hay

Ad-lib grass hay is fed at "hay stations" out of slow feed nets around the track to encourage movement and natural foraging behaviors.

Poly-Tape Fenceing

Our fencing consists of Poly-Tape, capped t-posts and step-in posts- this allows track configuration to be adjusted as-needed.

Track Enrichment

Along with hay-stations, salt licks, horse-safe plantings, are around the track. Some of these will be seasonal.

Forage Based Feeding Program

An option for boarders is to add on our forage-based feed, consisting off: Soaked timothy pellets, California Trace + mineral balancer, and loose plain salt fed twice daily. Based on body weight.

Barefoot Horses

To improve health and safety of all horses, no metal shoes are to be worn.

Tracks

Each track is broken down into groups of 5 horses. Each track is 1,200 feet in length, wrapped around 3.5 acres.
